Panel: Academic Library Impact: New Research from ACRL Grant Recipients (9:40 – 10:40am, Grand Ballroom C)

Big thanks to my research partner James Cheng! I’ll be sharing the initial results from our project “Researchers on Academic Library Impact: Characteristics and Perspectives,” primarily focused on our survey results & with a little interview analysis. 

Workshop: Creating an Assessment Plan & Data Inventory: Aligning & Managing Success Metrics (2:00 – 5:00pm, Hilton, Superior B)

My workshop focuses on how to create an assessment plan (aligned to your strategic goals) and how to create a data inventory (which describes the data you gather: what is collected, how and when it’s collected, how it’s used, and where it is stored).

Friday:

Poster: Visualizing Libraries Over Time: Academic Library Data Analysis, 1996-2016 (3:00 – 3:45pm, Poster 24, Exhibit Hall)

Big thanks to my research partner Samantha Godbey! Our poster focuses on a data analysis dashboard we’re creating for eventual sharing on Tableau Public, a longitudinal dataset of academic libraries over 20 years.
